PURPOSE:To provide a touch detection device capable of detecting the touches of plural operating pieces such as a keyboard without using a dedicated interface LSI. CONSTITUTION:First contacts FO-F31 are located at positions provided every key and made on concurrent with depressing a key, and a pulse signal is outputted from a waveform sharping circuit 1 to be inputted in a CPU 2 by turning any of the first contacts FO-F31 on. On the other hand, second contacts SO-S31 composing a second contact group B are provided for every key, and are arranged at positions where they are turned on according to key-depressing strength with a time difference from the turning-on of the first contacts FO-F31. A time length, from the point of time when the pulse signal is outputted from a waveform fairing circuit 1 to the point of time when the second contacts SO-S31 are turned on, is counted with the CPU 2, and the strength of key- depressing is detected by a counted value. |
