PURPOSE:To improve the convenience by detecting on/off of an accessory switch of a vehicle and setting automatically the mode to the automatic answering mode when the off-state representing a key not inserted to a lock is detected. CONSTITUTION:A system controller 4 staying in a main routine is transited to a subroutine of the automatic answering mode at a proper time to discriminate whether or not an accessory switch (ACC) 12 and a mode switch 11 are in OFF state, that is, opened. The discrimination is dependent on a level at an input terminal E. When a driver leaves its vehicle and forgets the setting of the automatic answering mode, the mode switch 11 is set. However, since a key of the vehicle is extracted from the lock in this case, the ACC 12 is opened. Thus, the input terminal E of the system controller 4 reaches a low level, a timer is started to discriminate whether or not a prescribed time elapses. When it is discriminated that the prescribed time elapses, the reception mode is brought into the automatic answering mode. |
