PURPOSE:To constitute the windings of an armature wherein the values of current flowing through both groups becomes nearly equal even when both groups are connected in parallel, by constituting both groups of a group of wire wheels of the 1st constitution and a group of wire wheels of the 2nd constitution, both of which are the same in numbers. CONSTITUTION:Each phase is constituted by four groups of wire wheels U11, U21, U12 and U22. In the case of the windings of the armature which can be switched to four poles and eight poles, for instance, one group G1 is constituted by U11 and U12, and another group G2 is constituted by U21 and U22. Accordingly, one of U11 and U12 and one of U21 and U22 form the 1st constitution, while the others from the 2nd constitution. Therefore, two groups of wire wheels of the 1st consitution are in parallel adjacently, and also two groups of wire wheels of the 2nd constitution are inparallel adjacently. By this constitution, even when both groups are arranged in parallel, the volumes of the current flowing through the groups respectively are nearly equal and thus the windings of the armature having small harmonic magnetic field and excellent characteristics can be constituted. |
