PURPOSE:To use a occurrence relation and to obtain a more appropriate conversion result as to an inputted reading string. CONSTITUTION:The reading string inputted from a keyboard 2 is converted into plural word strings(conversion candiates) by a KANA(Japanese syllabary)- KANJI(Chinese character) conversion processing part 3 and they are stored in a storage table 4. A occurrence processing part 5 refers to a occurrence information table 51 storing the relation of a concept having the occurrence relation as to the word string stored in the storage table 4, and a composite word table 52 storing the concept corresponding to multiple composite words and sequentially generates the composite word. Then, the number of the generated composite words is stored in a composite word counter 53. Then, the occurrence processing part 5 decides the output priority of the word string in the storage table 4 in accordance with a prescribed rule. Thus, the appropriate conversion result corresponding to the inputted reading string can be obtained at last. |
