PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head wherein it is provided with an excellent recording and replay characteristic and it can maintain a stable characteristic even in a high-temperature heat treatment process. CONSTITUTION:A magnetically soft alloy film used for a magnetic head is provided with a composition expressed as FeaMcBdCe or (Fe1-bTb)aMcBdCe where M represents Zr, Nb, Hf or Ta, T represents an element such as Co, Ni or the like, 70<=a<=90, b<=0.05, 5<=c<=15, 0.5<=d<=15 and 1<=d+e<=20, respectively, in terms of atomic%. |
