Release and signalling device for earth detector module - uses signalling relay set and reset in conjunction with electromagnetic rapid release switch

The release and signalling device uses a bistable signalling relay (19) electrically connected in parallel with an electromagnetic rapid release switch (11). The signalling relay (19) is set upon operation of the latter and is reset upon resetting of the rapid release switch (11) via the induction current resulting from the switch resetting. Preferably the release and signalling device is contained in a housing, with a pin contact for the electrical connections for the rapid release switch. ADVANTAGE - Modular configuration allows increased flexibility.
