Muscarinic antagonists formed by substitution of the distal N-methyl group of pirenzepine or telenzepine. The group used for substitution can be, for example, a propargyl group, a benzyl group, a substituted benzyl group, a hydroxyethyl group, a chloroethyl group, an aminoethyl group, an omega -amino alkyl group, or an N-subbstituted omega -amino alkyl group.
