<p>This software structure for an information processing system, especially for a system having a large volume of software, and working in real time, includes: - a layer (SE) called service layer which includes processing functional modules called application functional modules; - a layer (SY) called system layer, which includes processing functional modules, called system functional modules. The application functional modules have no element which is a function of the system functional modules, nor of the hardware architecture of the system. The system layer (SY) provides: - the routing of messages exchanged between application functional modules (CTSC, COSP); - the management of the distribution and of the duplication of the application functional modules in the system; - the allocation of references (x4, y4) to transactional processes between application functional modules, and the management of these references; - the securing of the contexts of the application functional modules; - the translation of a system breakdown into service breakdown.
