Connecter for joining a pipe (9) to a tapped component (3) in an orientable manner, characterised in that it comprises: - a male threaded ring (1) which screws into the tapping (2) in the tapped piece (3) and including, at its inner end, an annular bearing surface (4), - an end-fitting (adaptor piece) (7) mounted so that it slides inside the threaded ring (1) and onto which the pipe (9) is fixed, the inner end of this end-fitting (7) including an annular bearing surface (10) intended to interact with the corresponding annular bearing surface (4) of the threaded ring (1), and - a means (11, 14) for separating (distancing) the end-fitting (7) from the ring (1) in order to achieve sealing at the two interacting annular bearing surfaces (4, 10) formed respectively on the end-fitting and on the ring. <IMAGE>
