Key for security lock

摘要

The key for a security lock consists of a body (3) shaped to fit inside a slot in the rotor of a barrel lock and equipped with a pusher (9) which can move transversely relative to the key body and disengage the rotor from the stator of the lock. The pusher interacts e.g. with a projection on one side of the barrel so that it moves a tumbler on the opposite side. The pusher is shaped to slide in a matching recess in the body of the key, e.g. with projections in the key recess engaging with recess in the body of the key, e.g. with projections in the key recess engaging with recesses in the pusher to prevent the latter from rotating as it slides. In addition, the outer tips of the pusher are shaped to interact with special projections and tumblers in the lock barrel.
