PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of feedback control uniformly correcting printing density by controlling the heat-generating temperature of a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A sample image forming means periodically forming density sample images 10 is provided to a recording medium 2, a photosensor 14 optically measuring the printing density of the density sample images 10 is mounted, a density adjusting means comparing the output value of the photosensor 4 with a preset reference value and adjusting the printing density of the recording medium by controlling a driver circuit is provided, and the heat-generating temperature of a thermal head 3 is feedback-controlled in the printing density of the density sample images 10 actually printed onto the recording medium 2. |
