PURPOSE:To replenish and recover paper money without stopping a money payment/ reception transaction even on the way of the transaction by providing a primary discrimination part and a secondary discrimination part of paper memory and providing a replenishment/recovery safe and a carrying path for replenishment independently of a carrying path for money payment/reception or the like. CONSTITUTION:When paper money is carried from a paper money payment/reception part 1 to a temporary holding hand part 11 at the time of money reception, carrying paths 4 from a feed-out part 5 to a secondary discrimination part 3, from the secondary discrimination part 3 to safes 6 and 7, and from safes 7 and 8 to the secondary discrimination part 3 are idle, and paper money is carried from a safe 9 for replenishment by a replenishment/recovery hand part 12 and is replenished to safes 6 and 7 through the secondary discrimination part 3. It is accumulated in an auxiliary safe 10 from safes 6 and 7 and is recovered in the safe 9 for replenishment. At the time of money payment, carrying paths 4 from the feed-out part 5 to the secondary discrimination part 3, from the secondary discrimination part 3 to safes 6 and 7, and from safes 6 and 7 to the secondary discrimination part 3 are idle until refeeding of rejected paper money is started after the end of payment, and replenishment and recovery are possible. |
