<p>There is disclosed a chemical formulation comprising one or more mono-terpene oils dissolved in alcohol mixed with at least 1-chloroanthroquinone and 2-chloroanthroquinone. An iron compound such as ferrous carbonate, ferrous chloride or ferric chloride may also be included. The formulation may be added to sludge to be processed in an anaerobic digestor to reduce hydrogen sulphide production.</p> |
