The present invention relates to the non-invasive measurement of internal parameters of blood organs such as the heart central venous pressure. An electronic cuff apparatus (1) connected to a non-invasive cuff device (2) measures both the systolic (S) and diastolic (D) blood pressures and a non-invasive measuring device (13) measures the pulse rate (P). The electronic values of these variables are sent to a central controller (4) along a bus (3). A keyboard (7) connected to the controller (4) inputs data of the subject so as to retrieve values of M and C from a ROM (6). Using the variables of (P), (S) and (D) in the equation CVP = (M.S<2>/P(S - D)) - C, a microprocessor CPU (8) calculates values of CVP which can be displayed on a screen (9). |
