<p>PURPOSE:To attempt to inhibit the discoloration of polyurethane having a treated surface by separating the rear surface of cloth of the upper and an adhesive by disposing a filler consisting of carboxy modified synthetic rubber latex without sulfur or vulcanizing agent. CONSTITUTION:In a process for manufacturing shoes by laminating a rear surface of an upper cloth whose surface is treated with polyurethane with a rear cloth, a carboxy modified synthetic rubber latex is used as a filler for treating the rear surface. As a filler, carboxy modified styrene butadiene copolymer latex, carboxy modified methyl methacrylate graft polymer polybutadiene rubber latex or the like is used. The shoe cover is bridged with melanine resin, epoxy resin or zinc in the place of sulfuric vulcanization. Cotton is used as an upper cloth, and the surface thereof is treated with polyurethane and the rear surface is treated with a filler. Such shoe cover exhibits extremely little discoloration in conservation for a long time.</p> |
