PURPOSE:To improve the system independency of an application program for executing communication and to easily manage a communication system in respect to communication processing between plural computers. CONSTITUTION:The communication system for processing communication between specified access ports in accordance with access port definition 12 is constituted so that each definition 12 stores prescribed communication control information and prescribed purpose information, an application program 11 requests the definition 12 by specifing purpose information at the time of starting communication, a communication processing part 10 retrieves the definition 12 storing the purpose information specified by the program 11 and informs the retrieved definition to the requesting application program 11, and the program 11 selects the access port definition 12 having required contents from the definition 12 received from the processing part 10, determines access ports and specifies the determined access ports to the processing part 10 to request their communication processing. |
