<p>A test scoring machine apparatus (10) is used for grading scoring and printing of scores on. A light source (22) is attached to the printer (12) in a position for directing light onto the surface of one test sheet being fed from the sheet feed (13) into the computer printer (12). An optical reader (23) is attached to the computer printer (12) adjacent to the light source (22) for reading the reflected light being reflected off the test sheet so that marks on each test sheet being fed into the printer (12) are read by the optical reader (23). A computer (11) is attached to the printer (12) and operatively coupled to the optical reader (23) for receiving the output from the optical reader and producing an output signal analogous to a score from the signals read by the optical reader (23).</p> |
