Electrical installation generating power in isolated region - includes solar collector equipment with heat pump powered with travelling wave generator from wind power converter

The wind power converter (1) with a rotor (2) supported on a column (3) is designed as a travelling wave generator. The rotation axis is pref. vertical. Solar energy collector equipment (5) supported on a mast (4) is added. It includes four to five collector elements (6) designed as hybrid collectors, a first set of ducts for the primary heat agent and a second set of ducts in contact with the surrounding atmosphere. Each set of ducts is connected to a reservoir; some to a high temp. reservoir and others to a low temp. reservoir. In the junction between the reservoirs a heat pump is operated with the generator. The collector elements (6) can swivel around the vertical axis at an angle inside a sector of about 200 deg. to be orientated in the sun direction by an electromotor equipped for the propulsion device (12). The mast has a sensor to establish the wind direction and intensity and to command the swivel of the mast. When the wind intensity exceeds a certain value the collector elements are swivelled so that they present the smallest surface in the direction of the wind in order to protect them during violent storms. ADVANTAGE - Optimal utilisation in distant places, e.g. islands, coasts, mountain regions, with need for electric power. Avoids use of i.c. engine as motive power for generator.
