The cassette has a tray shaped lower section (11) that receives a stack of cut sheets (40). The leading edge of the stack is normally pressed into contact with a feed roller (12) that enable the top sheet to be transferred out when required. The tray is enclosed by a cover (30) that is tilted at one end by moving a link (25) when manual feeding of an external sheet (50) is required. The sheet passes through a guide (34) and enters the space formed between the roller and the top of the paper stack. ADVANTAGE - Allows single sheet feed of paper manually.
