Concrete formwork panel with Z=section cross rails - to increase panel stiffness whilst being relatively easy to keep clean

The formwork panel (1) is used for concrete building construction. It is bounded by a metal profile section (3) which is mounted on the form panel (11). Running with the bounding metal profiles, is a series of 'Z' section cross members which are regularly spaced and stiffen the panel. Wooden battens can be fixed to the cross rails to raise stiffness. USE/ADVANTAGE - The shaped cross member for a concrete formwork panel, offers a stiffness similar to that of a hollow section and is economical to produce.
