A boat carrier for small boats includes a elongated, skeletal frame for straddling the boat at approximately the centre thereof, a pair of bicycle wheels for carrying the frame and the boat, and cylindrical crossbars near the ends of the frame which act as guides for a strap which extends beneath the boat hull, and around the crossbars. The ends of the strap are connected by hooks and a strap tightener, which is used to draw the boat up into a transport position against the frame. The wheels can be mounted in brackets pivotally connected to the ends of the frame, so that the wheels can be rotated between the transport or use position and a storage position parallel to the frame. |
