A system for delivering a mixture of water and fertilizers through an existing irrigation system 15 is provided with a vessel 1 for mixing water and liquid manure 7 and a mixing vessel 3 for mixing water and ammonia. The vessels 1, 3 are connected to water feed pipes 13, 39, a liquid manure feed pipe 27 and an ammonia feed pipe 35. Ammonia and liquid manure can thereby be delivered alternatively or together during irrigation. <IMAGE>
