The subject of the present invention is a flowable protection system for a sealing member for flat roofs and other surfaces. It is constituted by the combination of one or more layers of a one- or two-component synthetic resin acting as a binder, poured directly over the ground or over a sealing member with which it will form one body, of granules of rubber or elastomer which may be coloured (dyed) through the bulk, these being either mixed with the said synthetic resin to form a mortar or are spread out, with reflow (reflux) over this resin while it is still liquid, the excess of these granules being, in this case, swept up after polymerisation of the resin. It is essentially intended for producing the protection of the sealing members of regular (running) parts and upstands (turnups) on flat roofs which may or may not be accessible.
