摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a high-resolution video by the video signal reading system, by controlling the shutter using the liquid crystal cell electronically to form the object image only in the sensor part constituting effective picture elements. CONSTITUTION:A voltage is applied to two liquid crystal shutters out of three to form an untransmitting part, and the signal corresponding to the left end part of the sensor for the focused object is stored. After storing it in a proper time, the gate electrode is opened to transmit the signal to the transfer part, and the signal is used as the picture signal of the first field. The voltage given to the liquid crystal cell is switched to store the signal so that the center part may be permeable just after transmission to the transfer part, and the signal is transmitted as the video signal of the second field after a proper time. Similarly, a transmitting region is formed in the right end part, and the video signal of the third field is transmitted. Effective picture elements are formed by this uniform operation, and the high-resolution video signal of one horizontal line is obtained.
