PURPOSE:To realize a system and device using new information obtained overlapping the information to be newly recorded on the preliminarily recorded information. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording medium having a first area C in which the information is preliminarily recorded, and a second area D in which the data are newly recorded, in a frame, is used. The first area C is reproduced, the second information is newly added to the reproduced recorded information simultaneously with the completion of the reproduction of the recorded information, and it is written in the second area D as the third information. On the other hand, only the information recorded in the second area D is reproduced at the time of reading. Thus, the new information obtained by superposing the information to be recorded by a user on the preliminarily recorded information, can be freely used. |
