PURPOSE:To supply a tape printer which is small in size per se and contains a small-size cassette having a long printable tape length per unit. CONSTITUTION:A printing tape producing device is provided with a transparent polyester film 8 coated with a heat-sensitive solvent forming a color when heated on one surface thereof; a printing means which brings a thermal head 5 into contact with the film 8 to print characters, image, or the like thereon in a reverse form; a pressure-sensitive double-sided adhesive tape 9 with separator; and two rollers 10, 12 disposed in the vicinity of the printing means. A printing tape is formed by bonding the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 9 with separator on the printed surface of the polyester film 8. |
