Machine for removing stones from agricultural or other land, comprising a lifting rotor (1) with transverse axis and provided with teeth (3) which penetrate into the ground, and move forwards therein in the direction of forward travel of the machine, and a lifting-up rotor (4) placed in front of the lifting rotor and rotating in the opposite direction and at the same speed. The lifting-up rotor carries rods (6) which penetrate between the lifting teeth (3) so that the lifted stones are raised up by the teeth (3) and the rods (6) acting in interaction in order finally to be thrown out at the back. <IMAGE>
