Sitting furniture assembly comprising an upper piece of furniture (1) and a lower piece of furniture (2) and its sitting arrangements (4, 14) of equal heights; the pieces of furniture may occupy positions of mutual separation or a coupling position forming a compound furniture (24) with its sitting arrangement and occupying the same space as the upper piece of furniture (1), and wherein the height of the sitting arrangement is constant and coincident with the height of the sitting arrangement of the compoud furniture (24) whereas when the lower piece of furniture (2) adopts the coupling position, the sitting arrangement (14) moves with respect to the furniture (2) by rotating about a horizontal longitudinal shaft (28) by displacement in the tranverse direction or displacement in the vertical direction. |
