<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gas insulated switchgear which can be increased in its capacity by improving the cooling effect of a circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION:A sealed container 32 which is positioned below main buses 4 and 5 and main-bus side disconnectors 2 and 3 and is provided with a vertical section 32a on the side of the disconnectors 2 and 3 opposite to the main buses 4 and 5. Then, by providing a vertical type circuit breaker 1 supported by a side wall 24, with the movable section of its circuit breaking section and a link mechanism 33 being positioned in its lower section, in the container 32 below the main buses 4 and 5 and vertical section 32a, the heat generated by the breaker 1 is radiated by utilizing the convection of an insulating gas in the vertical section 32a.</p> |
