PURPOSE:To obtain a toner having a wide range of fixing temp. which can be used both for a one-component toner and for two-component toner, and moreover, has excellent characteristics as a full-collor toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner for thermal fixing consists of a colorant and/or magnetic material and a binder resin. This binder resin is such a resin compsn. comprising domain resin particles and matrix resin. The domain resin particles dispersed in the matrix resin have <=5mum average particle size and the 0-60 deg.C glass transition point Tg1 with >=15 acidity. The matrix resin has 40-90 deg.C glass transition point Tg2 and <=10 acidity satisfying Tg2-Tg1>=5 deg.C. At least a part of the domain resin is crosslinked with a crosslinking metal compd. and contains carboxyl group-contg. monomers as the monomer component. |
