This underframe comprises, inter alia, a pivot (30) which is arranged to permit both an angular rotation and an axial translation along an axis (300), a return device (40) with a cam (41) and a countercam (42), one of which is integral with the base (10) and the other of which is integral with the foot (20) and which are adapted so that, when the base (10) is distanced from its reference position by turning according to the axis (300), the cam (41) and countercam (42) give rise to an ascending sliding of the base according to the axis (300), the return to the reference position being ensured by gravity alone.
