PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant ceramics molding suitable as a reflecting mirror base, having essentially <=0.03mum average surface roughness. CONSTITUTION:A glass molding comprising 50-60wt.% SiO2, 18-30wt.% Al2O3, 3-8wt.% Li2O, 3-5wt.% TiO2+ZrO2, <=8wt.% total amount of P2O5 and(or) B2O3, 0.3-7.0wt.% RO (R is Mg, Ca, Zn, Pb or V) and <=3.0wt.% R2O (R is K or Na) is heat-treated and a BN-spodumene solid solution or beta-eucryptite is formed to give a heat-resistant ceramics molding having essential surface smoothness. |
