CONSTITUTION:The sliding member is slid on the aluminum alloy as the mating material. This sliding member is constituted of the ferrous sintered material formed by applying the carbonitrided layer, Ni-P plating film or nitrided layer on the sliding surface. The sliding characteristic of the ferrous sliding material, the mating shaft of which consists of the aluminum alloy and more particularly the aluminum alloy having a high Si content, is enhanced in this way. |
