Mouldings (I) comprise: (A) outer skin of thermoplastic elastomer, and (B) core, coated by (A), of (B1) 30-70% (all pts. wt.) polypropylene resin as matrix phase; and (B2) 70-30% dispersed phase of: (B2.1) ethylene - alpha-olefin copolymer, or (B2.2) styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer. Pref. (A) is of styrene-based elastomer. Ratio of flexural modulus of (B) to that of (A) is 3.0 or more. (I) is prepd. by sandwich-injection moulding. USE/ADVANTAGE - For side-trims on motor vehicles. (I) have good scratch resistance and conformability to contours of car doors and to any required sepn. from each other, and do not expand or contract, e.g., through temp.. differences between summer and winter or day and night.
