摘要 A method of calibrating single loss torque computers for d.c. machines involves a first calibration stage with the machine unloaded in which the internal torque is measured for a number of speeds within the speed range and with operational excitation and is stored as the sum of the frictional and eddy current torques. This is repeated for an unloaded machine with a characteristic core current and the torque stored as the sum of the friction and loss torques. The frictional torques are determined for the speeds with a given inertial torque. The eddy current, loss and total error moments are derived. The accleration torque is determined in a third calibration step, enabling the inertial moment and speed variation to be derived. USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables all static error torques between internal torque and torque sensor to be detected.
