摘要 PURPOSE:To select a musical sound generation channel where musical sound information is assigned while a keying and a pedal state are reflected, to employ a selecting method even for a multi-timbre electronic musical instrument in common to the musical sounds of an attenuated sound system and a sustained sound system, and to reduce a feeling of physical disorder by the selection of the musical sound generation channel based upon a difference in sound generation mode between the attenuated sound system and sustained sound system as to the assigner of the electronic musical instrument which selects the musical sound information by an assigned level assignment system. CONSTITUTION:A musical sound generation channel whose note status detected by a 2nd detecting means is a note-ON status is weighted by a 1st detecting means which detects a sound generation quantity, the 2nd detecting means which detects the note status, and an arithmetic means which calculates the evaluation levels of respective sound generation channels from the sound generation quantity detected by the 1st detecting means so that when the evaluation level of the channel is calculated, the channel is hardly selected; and the weighting is reduced as the time of the continuation of the note-ON state is elapsed, and a channel where new musical sound information is assigned is selected according to the evaluation level of each channel calculated by the arithmetic means.
