PURPOSE:To prevent passengers from failure in riding in an elevator cage even when an elevator cage arrives at a position spaced away from a position where passengers wait and to prevent riding-in passengers from feeling extremely nervous. CONSTITUTION:It is decided by using television cameras 21a and 22a and waiting passenger detectors 21b and 22b whether or not the hall position of an elevator arriving in response to each call registration is spaced away from a waiting position at a hall by a given distance or more. When it is decided that a waiting passenger position is spaced away from the arrival elevator cage by a given distance or more, the door opening operation starting timing of an arrival cage is delayed to regulate a door opening completion timing of the arrival cage, and in this way, a ride-in time responding to the position of waiting passengers is ensured. |
