PURPOSE:To provide a cooling device for an electrophotographic copying device, which cools a line head or a motor for driving a rotary mirror and a DC power source for driving the line head or the motor by one ventilating fan. CONSTITUTION:A motor housing chamber 22 where the motor 10 for driving the rotary mirror is housed or a line head housing chamber where the line head is housed, and a power source housing chamber 24 where the DC power source for driving the motor 10 or the line head is housed and which is provided with the ventilating fan 29 exhausing toward the outside air are mutually connected and provided. By driving one ventilating fan 29, the motor 10 or the line head and the DC power source 23 are cooled by the outside air sucked from an outside air suction port 26 formed in the chamber 22 or the line head housing chamber, and the contamination of the rotary mirror or the line head by cooling air is prevented. |
