PURPOSE:To facilitate the selection of designated input data, and to enhance the efficiency for generating a document. CONSTITUTION:By operating a guidance key provided on a keyboard 1, designated input data stored in a disk 9 is read out, and by a guidance screen control part 4, a guidance screen is generated, and displayed on a CRT display part 10. When the guidance key is operated again, designated input data whose kind is different from that of the designated input data which is being displayed at present is displayed on the CRT display part 10. By a designating operation of the designated input data which is being displayed on the CRT display part 10 by an operator, this designated input data is added to a sentence which is being generated. |
