PHOTOACOUSTIC CELL AND PHOTOACOUSTIC MEASURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain a photoacoustic measuring apparatus having a photoacoustic cell used as both of a hermetically closed type and an open type capable of performing in-vivo/in-situ measurement at an arbitrary place of a sample with high sensitivity and high accuracy, obtaining data in a depth direction and equipped with a high sensitive small-sized hermetically closed cell simple to use. CONSTITUTION:A sample chamber 15 is formed to one end of a light guide 14 so as to be integrated with the light guide 14 and an acoustic signal is taken out by an L-shaped pipe 16. By fitting a sample holder 70 to the sample chamber 15, the sample chamber 15 can be also used as a hermetically closed cell. The volume of the sample chamber 15 and the length of the pipe 16 can be regulated and the optimum sensitivity is obtained by regulation.
