Rodent protection for vehicle cables and hoses - has wire mesh cladding with high voltage pulses when ignition is switched off

The insulated cables are fitted with an outer metal mesh cladding connected to the high voltage pulsing unit. The unit is similar to a cattle fence drive system and is activated by a remote switch or when the ignition is switched off, after a suitable integral time delay. The operation of the protection system can be indicated by warning lamps, e.g. if the owner checks the vehicle under the bonnet. A manual switch-off is included for the automatic setting circuit.
