Preferably, these parts are molded out of a dicyclopentadiene polymer, using the reaction injection molding (RIM) process. The lateral wall (20A-B) of the vessel is inclined inwardly from top to bottom so as to define an upper truncated conical section (21A) and lower truncated conical section (21B) coaxial with the upper section. A recess (25) with a thick wall section (26) is formed near the bottom of lateral wall (20B) of the vessel and this recess can be tapped with a threaded drainage hole (27) to receive a threaded drain valve (30). The vessel's bottom (24) is sloped towards this recess to permit complete draining of the container's contents. The container may be mounted on a pallet member (40) or seated in a pallet tub (50).
