The sleeve (2) of the pile driver is mounted over the stake (1). Within this sleeve, a driving head (4) can move up and down. The driving head is connected to the sleeve by pneumatically powered pistons (17) mounted vertically on the sleeve. When the pistons are operated, the action of lifting the head, causes a piling reaction, and the fall of the head causes a second pile action. USE/ADVANTAGE - Especially suitable for driving vine stakes.
