<p>An audio transducer (20) having a pair of magnets (36, 38) supported to provide a magnet gap (40) within which a flexible diaphragm (46) supporting an electrical coil (70) is received. The diaphragm (46) is formed of a pair of flexible cylindrical web (60, 62) joined at their centers to support the coil (70) within the magnet gap (40). The diaphragm (46) is provided with a row of perforations (34) on either side of the gap to provide flexibility and is aligned centrally within the gap (40) by tab (66) portions partially cut from the diaphragm (46) and folded to be adhered to the magnets (36, 38).</p> |
