The present invention relates to an introducer guide for an orthopaedic surgery operation, in particular an operation for relieving the carpal canal, characterised in that it is formed from a rigid article (100) comprising two parts: an elongate pallet (110) designed to be engaged via an incision in a canal, and a handle (150) connected to the proximal end (120) of the pallet, this handle (150) being inclined with respect to the pallet (110) in order to facilitate pivoting of the pallet (110) around its longitudinal axis (112), after insertion into the canal, in order thus to make a free passage facilitating the insertion of a cannula into the canal. <IMAGE>
