<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of an air bag module. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel body 1 has a pair of horn plates 9 forming the movable contact part 18 of a horn switch mechanism 8. Support parts 20 are vertically provided from the horn plates 9, respectively. A locking part 21 is notched on each support part 20. A pair of mounting pieces 34 to be mounted on the respective support parts 20 by screw members 40 are vertically protruded from an air bag module 5. An engaging part 37 to be locked and engaged with the locking part 21 of each support part 20 is formed on a spring piece 36 mounted on the mounting piece 34 of the air bag module 5. Thus, the air bag module can be locked and held by single left and right screw members, respectively. The height position of the air bag module can be determined.</p> |
