ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To accomplish a high accuracy image angle position by automatically correcting the position of an image by image recognition in a mechanical scanning type ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A B-mode image 7 is taken in an image recognizing portion 8, an image angle position difference is detected in the image recognizing portion 8, and an image angle correction value is stored in a memory 2 by a CPU 1. An image start angle position is calculated from the correction value by a CPU 3, and written in a comparator 6. The position is compared with positional information obtained from a probe 9 by the comparator 6 to obtain a corrected image start signal, and a display device 13 is driven to obtain an angle position corrected B-mode image 7.
