<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus of small size and high accuracy having a loading mechanism, where the height of a loading post 18 adjustable. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is equipped with loading posts 10, 11 for a magnetic tape 12 to be wound around a cylinder 1, with guide members 6, 7 provided around the cylinder 1 and for regulating the traveling path of the loading posts and with a height control mechanism 30 for changing the height of at least a part of the guide members so that, the height position of the loading posts 10, 11 changes when the magnetic tape 12 is wound around the cylinder 1.</p> |
