<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a plate flatness controller capable of controlling the flatness of a rolled stock with high precision to a quick change of a rolling state which can not deal with feedback control only. CONSTITUTION:A flatness detector 10 detects the respective flatness at plural designated positions in the direction of the plate width of the rolled stock 1. Target values of the flatness at the designated positions are set by a plate flatness setter 11. Besides, a roll load detector 5 detects the roll load of the rolled stock. Thereby, a plate flatness arithmetic unit 12 operates the variation amt. of the flatness at the designated position from the variation of the measured value of the detected roll load. Further, an actuator manupulate variable arithmetic unit 13 operates the difference between a detected flatness measured value and a set target value of flatness in each designated position and such a manipulate variable is calculated that a sum of the square of the difference between a value obtained by adding this variation amt. of flatness to this difference and a correction factor of flatness obtd. by operating the flatness actuator becomes the minimum and added to the flatness actuator.</p> |
