PURPOSE:To obtain a styrene resin excellent in strengths, transparency, low- temperature moldability, etc., by mixing a styrene polymer of a specified composition with a vinyl-aromatic hydrocarbon/conjugated diene block copolymer in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:A styrene resin is produced by mixing 99-70wt.% styrene polymer consisting of 20-70wt.% units of formula I (wherein R1 is H or methyl; and R2 is H or 1-5C alkyl), 0.5-20wt.% units of formula II (wherein R4 is 1-8 C alkyl) and 29.5-79.5wt.% units of formula III with 1-30wt.% block copolymer consisting of at least one vinylaromatic hydrocarbon polymer block and at least one conjugated diene-based copolymer block and having a weight ratio of the vinylaromatic hydrocarbon to the conjugated diene of 30:70-55:45. |
